Paithan is on the tall end for his species, and has a lithe muscular build. He has brilliant silver flowing hair, and brilliant ice blue eyes. He typically wears light armor of the finest quality he can afford and is armed with a rapier, and Main gauche.
Paithan is very outgoing, and some would say boisterous. He lives life to its fullest. He is polite and courteous especially with the ladies, a true gentleman in public. He is also prideful, and will not accept insults or inconsideration thrown his way. He readily accepts challenges to contests of arms eager to prove his skills and develop a name for himself across the realm as a master swordsman. Once he makes a friend they are friends for life and will go out of his way to help them if he is able.
Paithan grew up the third son of a minor noble household. As such he was basically out of any chance of succession, and was given more freedom to do as he wished growing up. While afforded many of the niceties of a wealthy household, Paithan was most interested in the art of Swordplay. His father recognizing his son's interest and eager to engage him in something less frivolous hired a tutor to train him. Paithan took to the training eagerly, and devoted many hours of each day to his training. However when not training Paithan had a accumulated a habit of hanging out in the gambling hall and womanizing. A fact his mother did not appreciate at all. She ensured that her son was also schooled in proper etiquette so as not to embarrass the family on special occasions.
Otherwise Paithan was left to his own devices. When he was old enough to leave home he did so, eager to explore the world and make a name for himself and experience life to the fullest.
